Ein breiter Panzer rollt die Straße herauf, dahinter marschieren graue Soldaten | Auf jedes Fenster legen sie an, Gnade, gar Mitleid hat niemand zu erwarten | Justyna liegt im Rinnstein, Blut strömt aus ihren Beinen, sie zittert vor Kälte, Panik scheint sie zu ereilen | Dann singt sie leise in sich hinein, ihre tiefe Angst will sie nicht zeigen

Sie spürt die Pistole in ihrer Hand, die Granate am Gürtel drückt ihr in den Rücken | Das feige Gesindel ist nun heran und umstellt sie mit dreckigem Entzücken | Einer von denen drückt ihr den Lauf an den Kopf, doch ein anderer hält ihn zurück | Brüllt „Spar Dir die Kugel. English translation:
1. A wide tank rolls up the street, grey soldiers marching behind
Aiming at every window, mercy, or pity even, no-one can expect
